RGGGH Canteen License Suspended Over Unsanitary Conditions

RGGGH Canteen License Suspended Over Unsanitary Conditions

The operating license for the canteen located within the premises of the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital (RGGGH) has been temporarily suspended. This action was taken following persistent reports of unhygienic conditions found at the food service establishment.

The decision to suspend the license came after the health department had previously conducted an inspection. This inspection was prompted by numerous complaints regarding the canteen’s cleanliness, many of which were circulated via social media platforms. Following their initial assessment, authorities had issued an improvement notice to the hospital management, outlining necessary rectifications. However, officials noted that the required changes to address the hygiene concerns were not adequately implemented, leading to the current suspension.
